Being a late born kid, Cajun wasn't ready to breed for our early spring 2024 kids, but did finally get it figured out on a first freshener due in May.
His dam, CH Agape's Prize Ragin CajunQuinn, is a doe who caught our attention as a two year-old and after seeing her in person at the 2023 ADGA National Show, we knew her son needed to join our herd. She descends from an extremely strong maternal line with 2 generations of National Champions and siblings who are just as pretty. Watermark was the very first buck that we purchased after deciding to begin breeding Nigerian Dwarfs as a project for our daughters...and what a buck he has turned out to be! Not only did Watermark sire the 2021 ADGA National Reserve Champion, Lil Miss B Haven AlwaysMagical, and the 2021 ADGA National Reserve Junior Champion, Lil Miss B Haven WM Azera, but he was also named the 2021 ADGA National Show Premier Sire!
Watermark’s offspring have been quite impressive with their overall balance and strength of general appearance, upstandingness in the front ends with smoothness of blending, length of body, levelness over the topline with strong feet and legs, and width throughout. He also has not missed on a mammary to date and we have found that we can always count on him to provide a rounded mammary shape in side profile, improved width and arch in the rear udder, as well as correct teat size, placement and shape. Watermark's daughter's also show an increase in milk production over her dams.
